Back in December 2012, we've done some masterpiece conceptual dolls for our show in Matsuya Japan.

*Photos / video link below.

Two of them came out as a released doll and we still get many questions about the rest. I remember looking at the original samples, before the show, thinking, that the real models were just people like us from a different era.

If you take them out of the canvas, most of them are normal people wearing clothes from their time. So what makes them different? Maybe the painting technique, maybe the artist's' message or the innovation thought of the whole art.

It's quite similar with designing dolls. Like a masterpiece, that's just a painting of a bowl of fruits, sometimes we just do a design that already exists in real life, like a collaborated doll.

When you start collecting something or drinking wine, they say the best way is to do whatever pleases you.
If a sketch done by your children means something to you, it can be a masterpiece more than 'Mona Lisa', whatever others think. A mint condition Pullip doll that's sold on ebay 30 times over its original price can be a masterpiece to the mass. But also a custom made hand-me-down Pullip can be that to its owner.

We think Pullip, Taeyang, Yeolume…whatever the models is… It's a tool, a blank canvas that we work on. When they meet someone to love them or meet people that change their hair, outfits… that's when they turn into art.

We'll do many more designs in the future and hopefully, they'll all become masterpieces to someone.
